Paolo is a resident artist at The White Whale Tattoo Society in Milano. His work sits between Fine Line and Minimal, and what holds it together is a particular cleanliness of line.

He came to tattooing from advertising graphics. That background shapes how he reads a design: the discipline of making an image work at any size, the editing instinct that removes everything a composition does not need.

A Minimal tattoo is not an empty one. It is a piece where every line has been argued for, and Paolo's training is in exactly that argument.

His Fine Line work carries the same logic. He tends to blend it with micro-realism: small passages of detail and tonal depth set against clean, deliberate outlines. The contrast is the point.
