The White Whale Tattoo Society was founded in 2018 by Matteo Nangeroni and Klaudia Makota after years of traveling for guest spots and tattoo conventions. It started with one simple idea - to create a studio that feels like home, where artists from different cultures and styles work together instead of being separated by genre.

Today, this idea still defines the studio. In Milan, six resident artists work alongside a constant rotation of international guest artists, carefully selected from all over the world, for both their artistic quality and how their work fits within the studio.

For us, tattooing is not just a service - it is artwork. Every tattoo starts with a conversation between the artist and the client - discussing references, placement, and how the design flows with the body. Nothing is rushed, and every piece is created around what the client truly wants.

The studio welcomes people who choose artists carefully, who follow styles across countries, and who see getting tattooed the same way collectors choose galleries. 
Booking is handled directly with each artist through Instagram.
