  • Matteo

    Matteo is our founder, the mind behind the whole concept, started to tattoo in 2013, he developed his own style and changing it constantly, doing surrealism and Blackwork, geometric and fineline, passing by ornamental and bold traditional. After years of guesting and conventions he had the idea to create a home, our first TWWTS back in September 2018, a sharing place where all cultures and experiences lives together and creates.
    His style has no name but we are sure you will recognize it always everywhere.

  • Eleonora

    Eleonora is a Venice based artist driven by a profound belief in the transformative power of tattoos. For her tattoos represent liberation, expressions of the soul, aligning with personality and body language.
    Her artistic principles are based on the early 20th century avant-garde movements and find shape into a modern minimal abstractism.
    Her passion for handcrafted textiles and architecture enriched with structure and textures her language.
    Often ornamental, the designs are imbued with symbolism, exploring themes of time, suspension and balance.
    She prioritises human connection in her creative process, each tattoo becomes a collaborative journey, where ideas and emotions intertwine.

    David discovered a love for drawing at a young age and dreamed of becoming a tattoo artist since high school. Specializing in fine line work, he constantly experiment to evolve their style. Joining The White Whale in March 2020 was a proud milestone for him, leading to countless positive experiences, from meeting talented artists to traveling abroad for work. Passionate about their craft, David wouldn’t trade it for anything else.

    Klaudia is the co-owner of TWWTS Milan, shop manager in Milan and social media manager. She has been part of the crew since day one actually, even before that helping build the shop from the ground up. Always ready to jump in and help, Klaudia has head full of creative ideas and the energy to make them happen. From keeping the shop running smoothly to making sure the social media game is on point, Klaudia is one of the reason why the shop feels like such a cool place to be.

  • Edoardo

    Edoardo is a talented tattoo artist specializing in surrealistic black and gray designs. Since joining TWWTS in 2022, he has made his mark with his unique and captivating style.

    Edoardo’s work is all about distorting reality, blending 1950s-inspired portraits with bold shadow contrasts and delicate botanical elements. His designs have a way of pulling you in, creating a dreamlike world where nostalgia and nature collide.

  • Ömer

    His works can be viewed as cause and effect stories where the forms consisting of repeat units multiplied by being tattooed in a small scale combined with writing, line and shading, and then are delivered to the audience.
    Being one of the characters of his story; the writing may occasionally take the form of a person, an object, or the name of a place and it provides his works with a title.
    This process beginning with the title results in a small-scale form that is associated with the title itself and incorporates an indirect or a direct narrative occasionally. When these small pieces contained in the work come together, they compose a greater form that is related to them in terms of meaning.
    This intricate set of relations delivered to the audience from the tiniest structural elements to the resulting greater form also renders the audience the creator of the story to be told.

    She’s always felt at home in creative environments and has a genuine love for people. She makes sure everyone feels welcome and well cared for, guiding you through every step of the tattoo process. From the initial consultation to taking photos during the session, she’s there to ensure your needs are met and that you feel comfortable throughout the experience.

    Tela comes from the world of illustration and has spent the last decade drawing professionally, honing a distinctive artistic style. His work is defined by bold, clean black-and-white outlines and intricate hatching that adds depth and volume to each subject. Tela draws endless inspiration from the beauty of the natural world, creating stunning depictions of plants, flowers, and animals. Each piece is infused with a touch of surrealism, making his work both unique and memorable. With a passion for creativity and a love for nature, Tela continues to evolve their art while staying true to his signature style.

Known for keeping the team grounded and focused, Giorgio is an essential pillar of the business. You might catch him around Milan, where he’s often on the move.

  • Mr B

    Mr B has been the artist manager in Padua since 2018, ensuring every guest artist feels at home and well taken care of. He’ll guide you through every step in the shop, though don’t be surprised if he sneaks a bite of your lunch! Look dangerous but he doesn’t bite.

  • Ace

    Ace is the beloved mascot of the Milan studio, always eager to offer a warm hug. You can often hear his cheerful singing harmonizing with the church bells throughout the day, adding a touch of joy to the atmosphere.
